C5 - ISL Training (ROMANIA)
Contrary to what is known, every country has a different sign language. However, there is a common language that deaf people use worldwide. This is called ‘International Sign Language’. In our country, this language is especially used in international conferences but very few people know this language. ISL teaching has been taught our deaf youth by our Romanian partner in Romania. The training program was performed by Turkish National Federation of Deaf People and upon necessity, Turkish National Federation of Deaf People has supported this course with two experts.
Training programs were performed between 1st-15th october,2016 in Craiova. Learning this kind of language has contributed their language and cultural development. The other international partners of our Project participated our Project with two deaf participants and they supported us. Thus, our deaf youth had the opportunity to practise this language with friends from other countries both in lessons and in their spare time.
