C2 - English Language Teaching ​

A sixty-hour lesson of ‘Basic English Language Education’ has been taught to 8 deaf participants who we will make pilot application of tour guidance certificate program within the scope of our Project and also to an Egypyian participant providing peer support. Three deaf schoolgirls having this training live in distant counties of İzmir and one of our students lives in Afyon. The system that we have prepared and used in Sign Guides Project is the first for our country and from now on, it’s a model for language education of deaf people. Sakin Şan, who has lectured, is also a deaf person. All lessons have been taught with the help of a sign language translator.
